Microsoft Project - Project Management at it's bestThe Microsoft Office Project started in 1984 in a DOS format. The design was to offer a project management software that would enable project managers to develop plans, budgets, track resources and project completion. It was not until the last few versions that the Microsoft Project became important outside of the business zone. Now Microsoft Project can be used for student projects as well as any other project. Basically the MS Project will create budgets based on the assignment of work and the resource rate you provide. It is supposed to assign task and estimate the time needed to complete the work. There will also be resource definitions that can be shared between projects to make it easier the next time you need certain people, equipment or materials. We offer a guide, answers to questions, and tips. You are welcome to submit your tips and articles to help us provide more information to those who need it.
