Surprisingly enough there are several outlook management software programmes on the market.  You may not have heard of them unless you are into that side of a business.  Some of the product options are Ganttoutlook, OpenProj, TaskJuggler, SharpForge, and Artemis.  These software programmes will do several different things.

Artemis for example is outlook management software, collaborative software, issue tracking, outlook portfolio management, resource management, and document management.  Artemis, MicroPlanner, Planisware 5, and Primavera outlook Planner are just a few of the software that offer all options.  Even Microsoft outlook doesn’t have everything.  In fact MS outlook has the outlook management and resource management.  All other options are unavailable to consumers with Microsoft.  

It is up to you to decide what is really important regarding the software programme.  Artemis and those like it will be more expensive, but they offer more options.  If you really need to run a business or school outlook all you need is the Microsoft outlook.  The other options, while helpful, aren’t something that is needed because office does have the options in other programmes such as Access.  So you truly do get everything you need within the Office suite that contains outlook.
