Microsoft Office access is a web based, email, and calendaring package.  There are a few differences in the access programme than other emails.  It is a computer software programme, for one.  This means that everything with access is saved on the computer.  To launch your email through access you have to have it open.  It has the same properties as other email programmes in that it has a phishing filter, spam blocker, and it can also have folders for save emails.

Many businesses find access to be a worthwhile programme because you can have emails, calendars, and appointments all in one programme.  In fact you can ask access to remind you of appointments that are on your calendar for a whole year.  For example every Tuesday you must make a certain phone call or do a certain task.  You can set up access to remind you of this task.
