Tip 1: File refresh when deleting recordsMicrosoft Office Access is used for the creation of databases. For those who are new to the programme you may not understand how it works. I wanted to delete a lot of records I was storing in my database to get rid of files as well as to shrink the file size. Unfortunately when I tried to delete, nothing happened. If this has happened to you then you should know that Access does not recover free space immediately. In fact it will take a long time for the database to refresh. So I found out you have to be patient in your deletions.
